ALTA surveys are surveys which conform to the requirements of the American Land Surveyors Technical Association. ALTA surveys are usually performed by land surveyors prior to the sale of a commercial property and identify the size of a property and all visual improvements on the site. By certifying to the size of a property and the location and size of all of the improvements on that property, land surveyors can accurately determine the value of the property.

When land is divided in to multiple lots of land it is done in one of two ways. The simplest method is by way of a FORM A plan. This type of survey and plan can be done if the new lots will all be located on an existing street which is maintained by the Town. The term Form A refers to the form which is filled out when the plan is submitted to the town for approval.
Subdivision plans are more complex and require that a new roadway be designed to allow access to the new lots. The professionals at New England Engineering Services have over 50 years of combined experience in the design and approval of subdivision plans. We utilize the most up to date computer aided design programs, field survey equipment, and one of the most well trained and professional support staffs to complete the design to meet your requirements of schedule and budget.
